FAIR-EASE at the 3rd Open Science Symposium in Greece
The Third Open Science Symposium in Greece takes place on December 10 and 11, 2024, at the National Center for Natural Sciences Research "Demokritos". Organised by the National Initiative for Open Science (EPAE), the event brings together researchers, academic professionals, and key stakeholders in the research community.
The two-day symposium aims to explore current open science developments in Greece and Europe. The first day will focus on presenting the Open Science ecosystem, discussing national and European projects, and exploring how research can be made more accessible. The second day offers practical workshops where participants can learn about open access, FAIR data principles, and collaborative research tools.
Stelios Ninidakis from the Hellenic Center for Marine Research will represent the FAIR-EASE project, presenting the project's work in advancing research data management. His presentation will highlight how FAIR-EASE contributes to making research data more findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable, supporting the broader goals of open science in Greece and Europe.
